PRIDE AND PREJUDICE

“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.” The small English village of Longbourn is thrown into an uproar with the news that Mr. Bingley, a wealthy young bachelor, has rented the nearby manor of Netherfield Park, especially for the Bennet family with five unmarried daughters. At a ball, the girls meet Mr. Bingley and his wealthy friend Mr. Darcy, after which life for the Bennet family will never be the same. In this staging of Jane Austen’s classic story, audiences will experience the scope of grandeur of the Georgian Era, while exploring class, reputation, and love.
