New Stage Workshops: Cycle 2
New Stage is theatre fundamentals for adults new to the stage. If you’ve always dreamt of “treading the boards” but didn’t know how to go about it, this program is for you!
Designed following London Community Players’ very successful London Youth Theatre Education (LYTE) Program, and our Technical Mentorship Program, New Stage offers a chance for adult beginners to gain theatre knowledge in a low-pressure and welcoming environment.
The program runs two cycles per year. The program begins with a month of workshops covering a range of subjects from theatre basics to vocal technique, line memorization, audition preparation, and more. After a month of intensive workshop instruction, participants will enter an extended rehearsal period, culminating in the fully-produced run of a stage play at the Palace Theatre.
