New Stage Workshop 7: Audition Preparation Part I
Work with LCP’s London Youth Theatre Education (LYTE) Program Coordinator Ruth Noonan on the way you approach auditioning for theatre performances. You’ll cover audition criteria, etiquette and best practices, how to prepare for an audition, and what to do when you get in the room. You may bring in your favourite audition piece, or there will be a selection of audition pieces available for you to choose from.
In this workshop you’ll learn how to showcase your talents, and present yourself as someone directors will want in their cast.
The New Stage Program and Workshop Series is made possible by a generous grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
An agency of the Government of Ontario, the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is one of Canada’s largest granting foundations. With a budget of over $136 million, OTF awards grants to some 1,000 projects every year to build healthy and vibrant Ontario communities.
